THE DIFFERENCE:
THE WAY WE DO EVERYTHING.
Headquartered in Jasper, Indiana—the essence of America’s heartland—our company has proudly achieved a positive global presence.
We’ve accomplished this by always putting our customers first—a steadfast business practice that results in earning their trust. Over the years, Farbest has built strong, time-honored partnerships.
WHAT WE DO:
Farbest Foods supplies raw, fresh and frozen turkey products to top-brand, value added further processors located throughout the United States and around the globe. Our commitment to excellence helps our customers maintain their stellar reputations and major positions of market share.
Our Commitment
Our annual total live production surpasses 600 million live pounds, with every aspect of the process strictly monitored. Farbest Foods turkeys are grown under stringent, humane conditions, and our operations are approved by the National Poultry Improvement Plan—the agency devoted to disease-free hatchery products. What’s more, all of our Farbest flocks are tested for Avian Influenza before processing.
One of the factors ensuring the health and proper growth of Farbest turkeys is the fresh turkey feed produced daily at JFS Milling, Inc., Farbest’s two milling operations. Our carefully formulated feed is then trucked to our contract growers and brooder hubs.
Next Steps
After processing, our company’s Distribution Centers vigilantly control the shipments of up to two million pounds per day of raw, fresh, and frozen turkey meat to further processors in the United States and around the globe. Accurate, on-time delivery is synonymous with our Farbest name.
After further processing and packaging, the branded products go to grocery stores, delis, restaurants, schools, and numerous additional outlets.
Now, and in the Future
At Farbest Foods, we understand our commitment to excellence has to go beyond turkey production.
As a family company with a legacy that spans generations, Farbest Foods is cognizant of, and devoted to, environmental stewardship. Our responsibility includes the conservation of natural resources for generations to come.
