FEED MILL MANAGER – Vincennes / Bruceville, IN

Farbest Foods, Inc. is looking for a detail-oriented Feed Mill Manager for our new site near Vincennes, IN. Initial responsibilities include assisting in design, construction, hiring and start-up of new facility. Feed Mill Manager will oversee all aspects of safety, quality assurance, maintenance, feed hauling and hours of operation.

Duties will also include purchasing all necessary tools and supplies prior to startup, cross-training at current Mill and working closely with other Farbest-related entities.

A minimum of 5 years of Mill management and/or supervisory experience is required. Compensation commensurate with experience and a benefit package which includes: health, vision, disability, paid life insurance, paid vacations, holiday pay, and 401-k.

BROODER HUB MANAGER

Farbest Farms, Inc. has a position available at its new Brooder hub in Livonia, approximately 10 miles west of Salem.  The manager will be responsible for:

Planning daily work schedules, Keeping  records, Ordering materials, Supervising farm labor, Ensuring  bio-security, Performing  other laboring functions to keep the farm running.

Previous experience with poultry and/or animal husbandry preferred:  Ability to perform basic computer tasks.  The basic work schedule is Dayshift, Monday-Friday,  with weekend rotations.  Must possess a valid driver’s license.

PRODUCTION WORKER – Huntingburg

Due to our future growth, Farbest Foods, Inc. is seeking hard working individuals to work in the production areas of the Huntingburg plant. First and Second shift openings are available. No previous experience necessary. PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR – Huntingburg

Farbest Foods is looking for an energetic, team player to fill a night shift supervisory position in our production facility in Huntingburg.

Responsibilities

• Attaining production goals;
• Improving work methods;
• General supervision and training of employees;
• Participation in continuous improvement programs.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and organizational skills;
• Problem solving and data analysis skills;
• Strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills, bi-lingual (Spanish) helpful but not required;
• BS or BA degree preferred but not required
• Supervisory experience preferred.
